Forster is located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, at the center of the stunning Barrington Coast.
By Car from Sydney:
Forster is about a 3hr 45min drive north from Sydney. Typically, you would take the Pacific Highway (A1) and then follow the signs for Forster-Tuncurry. The scenic drive offers glimpses of the NSW coastline and countryside.
By Air:
The nearest airport to Forster is Taree Airport. Fly Pelican operates direct flights between Sydney and Taree twice a week. From the airport, Forster is approximately a 35-minute drive. Once at the airport, you can hire a car or use local taxi services to get to Forster.
By Train and Bus:
There isn't a direct train to Forster. However, you can take a train from Sydney to Taree or Newcastle. From either of these stations, you can then catch a coach/bus service that connects to Forster.
